Click here to skip to classes and registration.
Kids’ College is an opportunity to expand learning in and through the arts in a safe, nurturing environment. A primary objective of Kids’ College is to instill a lifelong love of learning through the arts for its participants. Students have the chance to “try-out” different art forms at Kids’ College; they identify new skills within themselves, boosting self-esteem. At Carnegie Kids’ College there is little risk for failure, due to the support mechanisms in place—Teaching Artists, Volunteers, Peers and Administration.
- Please submit one enrollment packet: class registration, medical form and scholarship form (if applicable) per child.
- Enrollment deadline is June 13, 2008. After this date, tuition increases by $25.
- Full payment must accompany registration, unless you are applying for scholarship. There is a discount for Carnegie Hall Members at STAR level and higher.
- Refunds will be honored through June 18, 2008. A $20 administrative fee will be retained. Enrollment fees are nonrefundable after June 18, 2008.
- Limited Scholarship assistance is available to qualifying applicants. Please complete the scholarship application and return it with your registration.
Please note that enrollment is determined by the class year youth is entering, not by AGE. Home schooled youth should enroll based on what class they would be in the public school system. Children entering kindergarten and first grade must enroll in Kindermusik®/ Early Art. Please take note of grade requirements for specific classes and Afternoon Academy. Every possible effort is made to accommodate class requests, however occasionally we must make substitutions. Some classes may not be offered due to insufficient enrollment. Carnegie Hall reserves the right to cancel classes if necessary. Classes do fill up; up to 5 children will be waitlisted per class, should openings become available. You will be notified of your schedule two weeks before Kids' College begins. If you wish to know your assignments sooner, please be sure to include your email address on the registration form and you will be notified after June 18.
The Kids’ College day consists of 3- 70 minute classes during the morning, from 8:30-12:30. Snacks are served during 2nd period.
