- Class sizes are limited to maximize learning, so register early.
- Payment must accompany enrollment—registrations will not be processed without full payment.
- All classes require preregistration.
- Refunds will be honored two weeks prior to beginning of class; a $10 administrative fee will be retained.
- The determination of whether or not a class will be held is based on a minimum number of enrollees.
- A complete refund will be issued in the event that a class is cancelled by Carnegie Hall.

Illstyle and Peace: Master Class

Join this fun and challenging class introducing the hip-hop dance style of B-boying/B-girling (often confused with break dancing). The instructor will define the basic movements and techniques through demonstration and proceed to teach the moves to the students. Combinations for future practice are taught as well as exercises that develop strength, stamina, balance, and flexibility - all the necessary components for this style of dance. To participate in this class, dress for considerable movement.
Pottery for all Levels

Learn basic techniques during this 6 week class. Instruction will focus on the fundamentals of hand building and throwing on a potter’s wheel. Participants will create cups, bowls and vase forms. Ages 18 and up.
Basketry

Learn to weave an 8" egg basket or an 8" market natural basket. You will take home a hand-crafted basket and enjoy the fun and camaraderie of friends. Materials will be supplied.
Felting

Create a simple bag or purse without seams using colored wool fiber, water and soap. At the end of the day students will go home with the basic skills of feltmaking and a designer bag. Bring a lunch, towel, and wear clothes you do not mind getting wet.
Weaving Studio: Classic Huck Towels

If your idea of weaving is the rhythmic toss of the shuttle and tap of the beater, then these lovely towels are for you. Based on plain weave, huck patterning is logical to thread and treadle and weaves up quickly with just one shuttle. You will complete two heirloom quality towels in either a Shaker design or an original turned huck-spot designed by the instructor. As always, participants will be encouraged to streamline their warping process for more carefree weaving time on the loom. New weavers will have their own warping introduction. Bring a bag lunch.

Is your jewelry box overflowing with unworn, broken, out of style, "what do I do with this" pieces? Here is an exciting way to revitalize your jewelry - new or vintage! Instructor Mary Gammon will supply the essentials needed to aid you in deconstructing and redesigning those pieces that you cannot wear, but do not have the heart to throw away. Participants bring what you like: necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings.
Whimsical Furniture Workshop

Ever wanted to try your hand at those whimsical pieces that add warmth to your home? Use an old or new piece of furniture, painted with a basic color (prior to class), and learn techniques to turn it into the piece of your dreams. You will add sponge painting, stenciling or hand-painted decor to have a unique piece of furniture. Suggested pieces include: a small chest, step stool, wooden or metal chair.
