Carnegie Hall is Bringing the Arts to Life for the 19th summer of Carnegie Kids' College!

Kids' College is an opportunity to expand learning in and through the arts in a safe, nurturing environment. A primary objective of Kids' College is to instill a lifelong love of learning through the arts for its participants. Students have the chance to "try-out" different art forms at Kids' College; they identify new skills within themselves, boosting self-esteem. At Carnegie Kids' College there is little risk for failure, due to the support mechanisms in place - Teaching Artists, Volunteers, Peers and Administration.

Please note that enrollment is determined by the class year youth is entering, not by AGE. Home schooled youth should enroll based on what class they would be in the public school system. Children entering kindergarten and first grade must enroll in Kindermusik® Early Art. Please take note of grade requirements for specific classes and Afternoon Academy. Every possible effort is made to accommodate class requests, however occasionally we must make substitutions. Some classes may not be offered due to insufficient enrollment. Carnegie Hall reserves the right to cancel classes if necessary. Classes do fill up; up to 5 children will be waitlisted per class, should openings become available. You will be notified of your schedule two weeks before Kids' College begins. If you wish to know your assignments sooner, please be sure to include your email address on the registration form and you will be notified after June 18.

The Kids' College day consists of 3- 70 minute classes during the morning, from 8:30-12:30. Snacks are served during 2nd period. (Please make us aware of any dietary requirements on the medical form). Afternoon Academy takes place from 1:00-3:00. Students staying for Afternoon Academy should bring a bag lunch. Lunch will not be provided. Early Art/Kindermusik® times run concurrently wiht Kids' College sessions, and children take 2 classes, lasting 2 hours each day.
