Volunteer

Volunteers are one of Carnegie Hall's most valuable resources. More than 150 people are part of the volunteer team that contributes over 2,000 hours of time each year. We are grateful to the individuals of all ages who share their time and talents with us.

Performance Volunteers
Prospective performance volunteers are required to attend a one-hour training session before working a performance. Volunteers are needed for each of the season performances. All volunteers must be 19 years or older and must go through performance training. Duties include:

  • Ticket Taker
  • Usher
  • Reception / Hospitality
  • Load-In / Load-Out
  • Merchandise Sales
  • Technical Assistance
  • Host Family
